Mr Carmichael is chairman of the Reformed Ministers Fraternal which
meets on a bi-monthly basis in Glasgow. This is a non - denom- inational
gathering of like minded ministers and leaders who meet together for
fellowship, teaching and discussion.
UFM Worldwide is an interdenominational mission sending workers, mainly
from the UK, to Africa, Asia, Asia Pacific, Europe and South America.
The mission was founded in 1931 as
The Unevangelised Fields Mission.

As Scottish Chairman, he also serves on the UFM Worlwide national
council.
Mr Carmichael is also Chairman of the Scottish Reformed Conference.
The SRC is an annual gathering of some 300 Christians of all ages who
recognise the importance of reformed doctrine and biblical preaching
and who gather to sit under the ministry of preachers of natonal and
international repute.
Mr Carmichael is a visiting lecturer at the Faith Mission Bible College
in the city of Edinburgh. He teaches a course in Expositional Studies.
His most recent focus was on the Pastoral Epistles.
Mr Carmichael's ministry has taken him to numerous
conferences in the UK, and in the United States, where he has exercised
a much appreciated preaching ministry.
